LEARN FROM THE AGES

(inspired on a night trail)
Out looking for owls
Who’d have thought wisdom prowled at night?
Out where the wise flock
It’s only monumental occasion
Where ideas grow with moonlight shining into the ravine
Eyes glow as the reflection of the moon
Burning ideas through to the mind
For creation grows amongst the owls
Often never seen but clearly heard
The cry of the shrewd
Mixed amidst pullets
For let us not only engulf our prey
In return to dissect their remains
But let us analyze the formation of creation
While with the owls of prudence sit ever perched
